Velvet Salad

This is one I devised for my birthday dinner, to accompany a decently hot curry. It is an interesting dish and you could, if you wished, add chopped cucumber to make it firmly savoury, or chopped golden queen peach or banana to take it the other way as a dessert.

1 beurre bosc or other firm-fleshed pear

1 avocado

1-2 sweet oranges

cream kefir as desired, to drizzle over. (Too much is, quite simply, too much)

  1. Chop the fruit into approx 2cm dice and combine in a bowl
  2. Pour over them sufficient kefir cream to suit your taste
